Subject: Slow Response After Upgrading NetWare or Adding Second Drive
Date: January 23, 1991

PROBLEM: Some customers, who upgrade from NetWare 286 v2.15a or below
to v2.15c, find that their system runs extremely slow. When
you look at FCONSOLE, everything looks great. There seems
to be no reason for this to be running slow. It has
also been reported to happen after adding a second drive.
SOLUTION: ATDISK driver from NetWare 286 v2.12 or v2.15A seems to
correct the performance problem. When upgrading they used
the ISADISK driver, even the new ISADISK on NetWire had the
same performance problem.
COMMENTS: Take the ATDISK.DSK and copy it to the AUXGEN diskette
(replacing ISADISK.DSK). Then copy the ATDISK.OBJ onto the
disk labeled DSK_DRV_001.
